Owner Todd Anderson began his career in foodserivce in the early 1970’s. Todd became full owner of North Star in 2007 alongside of his wife and company Controller, Krista Anderson.

Todd and Krista and the entire North Star team continue to add additional manufacturers they represent and, are active participants in local, regional and national organizations that support and grow the foodservice industry. For example, Todd served on the MAFSI board of directors for 4 years representing region 19, the upper Midwest chapter and is active on various Rep councils.

North Star serves MAFSI Region 19. Our main office is located in Minneapolis and we offer multiple test kitchens throughout the region. In addition to our test kitchens we also offer two mobile demonstration centers so we can bring the best brands directly to you.
